Digimon Xros Wars Episode 19

“The Legendary Deckerdramon, Moves!”

Summary: Taiki tries to save Nene again.

Mimi: The first half of this episode nearly made me commit suicide. What the heck was that? Anyway, I’m not even going to talk about it.. *shudder* But the second half is pretty cool again. DarkKnightmon admits that he is ‘using’ Nene, and she is forced to reveal her situation. Something apparently happened to her brother, and she is working with DarkKnightmon so that they can be reunited and return to the human world. So my first hunch is right after all.

Kiriha has a big role this time as he teams up with Taiki to fight DarkKnightmon. He receives the code crown because he actually has the strongest heart (wow), and Deckerdramon joins his crew. We see a little flashback of him as a younger kid crying over a picture of his parents (awww) and he tries to show Nene how to overcome sadness to be strong. They end up retreating, but I have to admit that that was a pretty good fight. I can’t wait to see the final battle. Unfortunately, the next episode of Digimon is looking pretty average. They’re just going to a garbage dump zone to save Digimon from the Bagura army again. Meh. But episode 21 ought to be great judging from the title “Decisive Battle! DarkKnightmon VS Xros Heart!” Bring it on~ x3

But really, I’m up to my limit with Akari and Zenjirou. They’re only around for comic relief, and they do a pretty horrible job at it. Especially in this episode.

I mean, just look at these idiots. *deep sigh*

  1. While I’m right there with you that the dance bit was completely unnecessary and silly, that’s less the characters’ faults and more bad writing. I mean, if you were paying attention, it was written so they HAD to do it. If you noticed, it’s not like either of them wanted to, the role just went to them because they had to do something.

  2. Agree with the top reply! xD haha! Yeah, they want to make them useful somehow. I wonder if they will eventually have a digivice.
